Do Muscles Put Tendons To Work?

Some coaches have become so against MUSCLE & STRENGTH that they think sprinting is purely tendon driven...
 
Conversing with someone who has that opinion lead to these presentations of my perspective.
Athleticism is largely about reversing momentum with impulse.
 
Amortisation / reversal strength is the key.
 
Eccentric > Isometric > Concentric.
 
When we think about this from light loads to heavy loads it's clear... amortisation becomes longer as relative strength is challenged more.
 
For this reason an athlete can be transformed with strength training and all elite athletes are able to create massive tension in the muscles.
