question here from chuck pappy
can you elaborate on the herd of modern
nutrition
so when i'm talking about the herd
basically i'm talking about going with
the crowd doing what everyone else is
doing
if you're doing what everyone else is
doing in any area of life
you're probably in a bad and dangerous
position
my mentor says that 97 of society
in any one area will not be anywhere
near
optimal with what they're doing and
that's definitely true
for nutrition if you're going to
supermarket there's almost nothing there
that would be considered optimal
the problem with the meats is you know
they're often
packaged with long life stuff um even if
they're from good sources
often all the fats being taken off so it
can literally be
that i can walk into a supermarket and
like nothing would be
close to optimal and
yeah a lot of the produce even if it's
like organic
it doesn't tell you much about the soil
that it's grown in
how long ago it was harvested
how long had been stored for so yeah the
herd modern nutrition is
is going in a bad direction and
it's rapidly deteriorating there's a
huge
financial pressures from some of the
wealthiest people in the world
are investing in artificial meat
and vegetable proteins
and it goes under the guise
of saving the planet at the same time
those captains of industry uh not
reviewing anything
with regards to poisoning the
environment the amount of plastics and
air pollution and toxins in the
environment i don't feel as though
the real environmental issues are being
taken on but they're
uh kind of less
less powerful or less certain
perspectives
that are being used to push an agenda
you know so
um when you look at actual health
outcomes
and you look at some things that are in
these new food products
like even a lot of uh vegan people are
really
unhappy with what's going on to these um
plant-based some of them you know
they're not
they're even there's genetically
modified stuff in there that's
it's it's not plant but it's not meat
but it's like
and that's that's the kind of stuff that
we're headed towards uh the herd
is being rushed towards that sort of
food
and most of us have no idea what our
ancestors ate what they
you know really valued uh phrases like
the fat of the land and um
you know that's uh
we fat was associated with wealth
and you know the ability to eat fatty
meat
was highly prized i lived with
indigenous tribes
in uh outback australia and
mexico and they you know in australia
they wouldn't eat a kangaroo that didn't
have a significant amount of fat on it
and they loved the kangaroo tail which
is the fattiest part
of the kangaroo that's where most of
their fat storage was
and all ancestral cultures understand
this but yet
in modern society you know we're moving
away from
everything that's got us here as as
humans so
you know the lion cannot live on
on pasta and you know the
the cow can't can't live on steak so
there is a formula for human nutrition
and
we are being guided away from that and
it's not a good thing
