Kookaburras – Tristan White on the Dan John 40 Day Challenge

Kookaburras Tristan White on the Dan John 40 Day Challenge
Tristan White is a current member of the Australian Kookaburras. One of Australia’s best teams. I played hockey with Tristan when he was 14-15 and even before he lifted a weight he was a special player. He’s since worked hard in the gym to go from a feather weight to a leader in the gym. He’s fast and powerful and goes all day! Here’s his review of the 40 Day Challenge.

TRISTAN’s REPORT ON HIS 40 DAYS: My best on bench previously was 110kg, but at the start of the program I would have only been able to get 105 maybe, definitely increased my bench by a lot, got to 120kg for 1, reckon I can hit 125kg in the next week or so. Got 115kg for 2, 110kg for 5.
I had never tested myself or gone hard on deads so when I started my best was probably around 120, got up to 160kg for 2, felt comfortable too, I think I can go a fair bit bigger loved the kettlebell swing new technique, and improved heaps on ab rollouts
I definitely feel stronger, didn’t put on size but I think that’s because Ive been doing a lot of hockey/running at training, plus haven’t been taking protein or supps. The best thing was I never felt sore, and I always felt fresh and energetic
